Above a fishing village.

The colours and the fabric come from Moroccan tradition, and the shapes are left imperfect on purpose. That is their own account of why the place looks the way it does, and the rooms bear it out.

Imsouane sits on the Atlantic between Agadir and Essaouira. The rooms look either out to sea or down into the village.

Surf

Guiding runs half a day along the coast.

Book a session and a coach drives you out to find the spots around Imsouane, rather than paddling out at the same one every morning. Guiding and everything else is arranged at reception once you are there.

Rooms

Eight rooms, each named after a board.

Every one has its own bathroom, and every one looks at either the sea or the village. Freeride is a twin for two with a view over the street.

Yoga

Classes run on the roof terrace.

Yoga sits alongside the surf in everything they offer, and both can be folded into a stay or a privately booked retreat.

Days out

Five trips from the lodge.

Surf guiding

Half a day in the car with a coach, looking for spots along the coast around Imsouane rather than paddling out at the same one every morning.

The sand dunes

Half a day, thirty minutes from the village, timed so you are there for the sunset.

Essaouira

A full day in the old medina. The driver leaves after breakfast around ten, and it is two hours each way.

Tagine, cooked by you

A class with the lodge chef using local ingredients, and then you eat what you made.

Out on the boat

Fishing off the Imsouane coast on their boat, learning the techniques as you go.
