What we keep, and why.
Effective July 3, 2026.
What we collect
Applications: when you apply for membership or submit a place, experience, or conservation project, we keep what you send us, including your name, contact details, and what you wrote. That is the point of the form.
Operator onboarding: hosts who join provide property details, photos, pricing, and booking contact information, which becomes the content of their page after review.
Site analytics: we use Vercel Analytics for aggregate page statistics. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
Sign-in: members and hosts sign in with an email code or password. Session cookies keep you signed in; they exist for that purpose only.
What we do with it
We read applications to decide who joins the network. We use booking contact details to introduce guests to hosts, which is the service. We use your email to send the things you asked for: sign-in codes, application replies, and network updates for members.
We do not sell personal data. We do not run advertising. We do not share your details with anyone except the service providers below and the host you asked to be introduced to.
Who processes it
Supabase hosts our database and authentication. Vercel hosts the site and analytics. Formspree relays some form submissions to our inbox. When payments launch, Stripe will process them; card details go to Stripe, never to KŌLVA.
Your choices
Ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted by writing to hello@kolva.co. If you applied and were not admitted, your application is deleted on request. Members can leave and be removed from the directory at any time.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes in a way that matters, members are told by email first. Questions go to hello@kolva.co.
